TARKOVSKI CELEBRATION

1^st – 4^th of December 2012

This December, the Russian Federation Embassy in collaboration with Artviva and several other cultural entities, will celebrate the work and life of the important Russian filmmaker: Andrei Tarkovski.

The Romanian audience will be able to see the original versions (without the censorship interference) edited by the director himself for his films “Andrei Rubliov” and “Solaris”. More details about Tarkovski’s life and work will be revealed through 3 documentaries presented in the festival: “Rubliov Mystery”, “The Dream Collector”, “The Magnetism of Memory”. Screenings are held at MTR, Bucharest, where the audience will discover also an inedited photo exhibition from the set of Tarkovski’s last film: “The Sacrifice”.
