WHO ARE WE?
Film TEEP is a co-production training programme organized by ARTVIVA with the support of the Romanian National Center of Cinematography.
The aim is to enable an international framework for development of fiction projects, setting up and building a professional network in the East European region, and to encourage audiovisual collaborations between both EU and non-EU member states.
Applicants can download the application form from here or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please ensure that all sections are completed. All documents, including the project proposals themselves, must be in English and should be sent via email to email@example.com.
The selected projects will be announced on 15th of March 2014.
Projects will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Quality and originality of the proposal
- International co-production potential
- Production potential and commercial viability
- Track record of the applicants, and ability to collaborate effectively
Film TEEP will start with a workshop held in Bucharest from 7th to 12th of May 2014 with follow-up tuition available online afterwards.
The course will bring together 15 selected fiction projects in teams of writer/director and producer.
The training will be held in English with a team of established international professionals.
The team of trainers: Christian Routh (Head of Studies), Patrice Vivancos (Production and Finance Tutor), Ana Magallon (Script Tutor), Anatoli Edward Regintovski (Script Tutor), Dr. Dirk Poppendieck (Legal Tutor). See CVs for further information at www.artviva.ro.
The workshop sessions will involve individual tutorials, group tutorials, and plenary sessions, and are designed to be as collaborative as possible. The goal for each project will be to improve the creative content and nurture the international potential, so that a script can be developed which has the best possible chances of success in the marketplace.
During the event, the 15 selected teams will have the opportunity to meet and discuss their projects with award-winning Romanian filmmakers.
At the end of the program, the two projects displaying the greatest potential will go on to participation in Mannheim Meeting Place – the co-production market at IFF Mannheim Heidelberg (November 2014 – www.iffmh.de/en) or the When East Meets West at IFF Trieste (January 2015 – http://www.wemw.it/).
The course fee is 110 euro/person for the selected projects. There is no application fee.

Film TEEP will offer free accommodation for foreign participants. Travel expenses must be covered individually.
