About Artviva

ART VIVA LOGO micArtviva’s aim is to enable an international framework for development, production and promotion of film projects, fiction and documentary, shorts and features, as well as film festivals, workshops, and visual culture, setting up and building a professional network in the East European region, and to encourage audiovisual collaborations between both EU and non-EU member states.

Artviva’s young production portfolio includes shorts selected in national and international film festivals and commercials.
 
Since its founding in September 2012, Artviva is a constant cultural partner of the Russian Embassy and the Russian Center for Culture and Science in organizing the Russian Film Days Festivals in partnership with Mosfilm and Lenfilm, celebrating well-known film makers: Tarkovsky’s Celebration, German Family Portrait, and launching DVD collections with Mosfilm Golden Films.
Besides these initiatives, Artviva is a supportive partner for well-established festivals looking to broaden their portfolio of films or jury members  or set a new mark in the Romanian cultural environment (Kazakh Film Festival, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakh Films).
For four years, Artviva initiated and organized several international film trainings, FILM TEEP for feature length projects and 4CC – 4 Corners of Culture for short films, supported by the Romanian CNC and other international partners like Mannheim Meeting Place (Germany), WEMW – Trieste IFF (Italy), Hacetteppe University (Ankara, Turkey), MOB/Meetings on the Bridge – Istanbul IFF (Turkey), and national partners such as: UCIN, Cervantes Institute, the Russian Center for Culture and Science.
Artviva is co-partner for the Russian Cultural Days and Russian Film Days since 2012 and co-organizer of the international film festival WINGS (since 2017) including CSI countries, Romania and guests of honour countries for each edition as Serbia (2017) , Georgia and Estonia (2018) and Israel (2019).
