Two weeks ago, Ruxandra Cernat, the President of the Romanian Association ARTVIVA and the Head of Film TEEP, was joining the 9th edition of the Meetings on the Bridge looking to consolidate and enlarge the professional network her programme has created. As she discovered such interesting Turkish film projects here, the collaboration between the two programmes started out.
As an immediate consequence of this partnership, Film TEEP selected two projects participating at the Meetings on the Brigde: “Reproduction”, of Atasay Koç, Yagmur Dolkun and Caglar Kanberand “The One Without the Script”, of Alpgiray M Ugurlu, Umut Bayoglu and Mustafa Eren.
Ruxandra Cernat mentioned: “The selection for this year workshop was already closed, but we’ve been so impressed by the originality and voice power of these projects that we decided to invite their authors hors concours. We are sure that the work on their scripts will enrich the experience of both parties.”
Film TEEP is a co-production training programme organized by ARTVIVA with the support of the Romanian National Center of Cinematography, in collaboration with the co-production markets Mannheim Meeting Place of the Mannheim-Heidelberg IFF and When East Meets West of the Trieste IFF.
